Client Description

A global leader in the hospitality industry, known for excellent service and superior quality across its family of hotel brands. The client works hard to make guests feel genuinely valued, whether they stay at a 3-star or a 5-star property.

Challenge

The client approached Prepaid Solutions USA to develop a gift card program to reward guests for staying at their hotels during the 2008 holiday season. The program needed to be flexible enough to accommodate use in both the U.S. and Canada, and to allow guests the freedom to choose how to spend their gift. It also needed to provide a secure method for transmitting guest data.

On the front end, the client needed assistance developing a range of marketing and advertising materials to promote the offer, and on the back end, they needed fulfillment support. And, perhaps most challenging, the entire program had to be created and executed in just 2 weeks.

Solutions

Prepaid Solutions USA supplied a robust, custom-branded Visa® gift card program, complete with a full complement of promotional materials and back-end support.

Applying our extensive experience with the Visa network, we were able to quickly and efficiently develop cards that faithfully represented the client's brand, while confirming to all mandatory requirements.

We also facilitated communication between the client's IT department and the network, allowing rapid program configuration and testing to ensure proper function and data security.

To ensure timely and accurate gift distribution, Prepaid Solutions USA assumed all responsibility for fulfillment, including follow-up support for cardholders.

Result

From marketing through fulfillment and cardholder service, the program Prepaid Solutions USA created exceeded all the client's requirements for flexibility, effectiveness and timeframe.
